AI Radar is a daily starting point for understanding AI releases, agent tools, research, and the engineering ideas behind them. It brings a selected set of publisher announcements into one readable feed.
Freshness you can see
We check six publisher feeds or newsrooms. Results are cached for 30 minutes and refreshed when the site is visited. The page shows when that check happened and which sources responded. Refresh loads the latest available snapshot; it does not bypass the publisher cache.
A source marked delayed could not be reached or parsed during the last check. When all sources are unavailable, clearly dated editorial briefs keep the page useful. We do not label that fallback as a live feed. This is selected coverage, not every announcement on the internet, and feed position does not measure popularity.
Three kinds of coverage
- Editorial brief: a prepared summary with key takeaways, clearly labeled analysis, caveats, and exact references. Each brief includes its review date.
- AI source summary: generated from the linked publisher article when summarization is configured and the source is accessible. It is cached for up to 24 hours and can miss context.
- Publisher excerpt: a short description from the source when a full summary is unavailable. The original announcement is always linked.
To produce an AI source summary, the server sends the public article text and headline to the configured provider. With the default settings, that is OpenRouter’s free-model router. Account data, saved stories, followed topics, and read history are not sent. OpenRouter may route a request to different model providers; their data practices vary. Announcements and explainers are different
Fresh releases appear in the main feed. Older concepts such as loop engineering and harness engineering live in the Concept Desk, with their original dates. A useful idea does not need to masquerade as breaking news.
Our source list
Hugging Face includes community and company-authored posts; appearing on its blog does not make a post an independent evaluation. Benchmark, pricing, availability, and safety claims remain attributed to their publishers. References may include supporting documentation or clearly labeled reporting.
Your reading space
Saved stories, read markers, and followed topics stay in this browser on this device. No account is required. Clearing browser storage clears these preferences. A saved article that leaves the rolling feed still provides a link to its original source.
